Dear Friends,
As you know, I have founded World Youth Served, Inc.
(WYS) in 2011 with the goal of helping youth around the
world with various causes and programs. Last December,
our organization received its first opportunity when it was
invited to a private fundraiser hosted by NFL Star and Future
Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez and his wife October. I cannot
tell you how excited we were to be invited, and we brought
14 of our supporters in various causes such as education,
sports development and community programs.
We thank you for your valuable contribution to the WYS
General Fund. This fund is critical for students like Raji Smith
(not his real name), a young 19-year old trying to earn his
GED after a childhood and adolescence filled with
personal trauma. Recently, WYS participated in a oneweek
plan to drive Raji an hour away four times to
complete his GED testing. This was only possible by
expensing out of the WYS General Fund to attend the Tony
Gonzalez Foundation fundraiser (they are now helping Raji
as well) but by paying a chaperone to drive Raji back and
forth.
These efforts, and other programs, can be read on our
website at www.worldyouthserved.org. You will receive a
call shortly from our Treasurer to receive your donation.
Once again, I thank you for your participation, care and
support of our youth and World Youth Served.
Humbly Yours,
Jesse Boyd
